My mom gets mad at me when I do the laundry. She thinks the dryer is going to catch on fire and the washer is going to start leaking and flood the basement unless she does it. :/

When my daughter was 16 I had told her to do her laundry. She didn't. The next day the washer broke down. We could not get it fixed for 3 weeks.
After that she did her laundry without me having to say a word.

well the two little ones are now gone, and i just have mama...So that should make it alot better on the smell...as far as chores go i am gonna have to sit down and figure those out...

I wish I could blame my house on kids lol...My fiance and I are just lazy >.<
I think grounding is well and good but no TV/Computer/Music would go a lot farther with them. Also no working on the mower until chores are done. I would try to estimate how long it takes to do each chore and have it set to make it be about 20 mins a day or 60 mins a week, and it should be done right after school so they can't put it off. |
