I seriously don't like my neighbors.I swear the are pedophiles, because they have cameras in front of their house, that face towards to the daycare/elementary school across the street.Well anyways, my dog barks at people who come to close to the house or he feels are a threat or danger. He isnt a nuisance, he doesnt bark like mad like other dogs do.But yet my neighbor still feels the need to tell my dog to be quiet. The fact he knows my dogs name, plus the fact he has cameras that face towards a place where little kids play, and he is related to someone who dealed drugs down the street. His dogs are so annoying and one has a biting issue. He is 40 year old creeper who lives with his mom.I seriously hate it when he tells MY dog to be quiet, when my dog isnt that much of a problem, no one else complains.Tanner is just protecting his property.Plus the dude's girlfriend was obnoxious, she would sing and it DID NOT sound like singing, it was horrible, she also dressed poorly, like you could see her butt, and thats just gross.Me and my brother were at Coldstone, and my neighbor and his girlfriend were in front of us.WE SAW HER REAR END! AND THERE WERE OTHER YOUNG CHILDREN THERE!!
Another thing this guy is 40ish, he lives with his mom, and his girlfriend's were all YOUNGER than him, he is always outside when the kids are at recess, and he smokes, and he worked at Disneyland and got fired(I wonder why?)With someone like that doing that, i jsut don't like it, let alone trust the guy. Do you have any crazy neighbors?People on your block or live near you just don't trust? Share your crazy neighbor stories here.

I had a neighbor once who seriously worried me. He had a van and he had wired a naked baby doll on the front bumper. It would not have surprised me in the least if he had turned out to be a predator.

When I was a kid (we moved from here when I was ten), we had a guy across the street we called The Crazy Man. He was middle aged, his girl friend was sixteen. He was always fighting with her. He would chase her outside with a baseball bat. We would file out on the porch to watch because maybe he wouldn't kill her in front of us. The old lady next door to him would call the police. They would come two to four hours later. They never took anyone away.
When I was four he asked my sister if she wanted some hot chocolate. She was six. She was always smarter than me. She said no. I said yes. She came with me because she was afraid for me. He offered her a dollar to kiss him. He showed us a jar of quarters in his bedroom. What a jerk. Yeah, they exist, weirdows.

Nothing sinister but, I have a neighbor who is an older woman. Because she is older, I take care of our fence line. I'll weed eat our side and then go down on her side. Every time I do she comes over and tells me that I did it wrong. Not sure the correct way to weed eat - chop off all the weeds is what I'm thinking. But I just say, "Yes Ma'm". And then do it the same next time. Oh knows, that could be me one day....unless I find me a pool boy

Oh, I have a good one! One creep, who used to live across the street from us growing up, used to occasionally flash his youknowwhat at the people in the houses across from his. It was his parents' house and not sure whether this guy even worked, even though he was old enough to earn his keep and he was certainly educated enough. For the kids, it was a morbid curiosity issue and they would keep their eyes peeled anytime they passed that house and would giggle and make catcalls about the creep. My mother found out about his habit and adorned one of our windows (facing his house) with shoes and brooms. In my culture, to show someone those objects basically means that you want to beat the **** out of them.

To OP: As of right now they're all assumptions. If I lived across from a school I would probably have security cameras as well. Eventually one of those kids is going to do something and I'd have it on camera and have video proof. Once the first kid gets caught the rest would probably learn.
Your dog's barking may not seem annoying to you because it's your dog but it might simply annoy him so he tells it to be quiet. Thousands of people all over the country yell at neighbors dogs daily. So her ass was hanging out, Im sure you see a dozen girls your age dressed as bad if not worse everyday but because she's older than you it's gross? He knows your dogs name because he's probably heard you calling your dog, I know my neighbors dogs' names for the same reason, doesn't make me a spy or stalker nor does someone being a criminal make you one by relation. What does him smoking having to do with anything at all, it's legal. And Im sure if I worked at disneyland I'd snap eventually and get fired too. Being 40 and living at home sucks for him but it's no crime, there may be more to it than that, his mom may live with him and he's helping her out, maybe he lost his job in this recession and had to live with her, or maybe she's ill and can't afford to pay someone to aid her so he is instead. Im just saying, nothing here makes him dangerous. I've read at least half a dozen threads where people on this forum called someone at petsmart or where ever an idiot for being afraid of there dog only to have the members of a GSD forum take the side of the so called "idiot". They're right too, in that sense and IMHO this is no different, could be a normal ol' guy getting bashed online only for being different. I did learn today that smoking and knowing my neighbor's dog's names makes me suspicious and a potential threat to the community, hmm, actually I own a gun too. Hold on, in process of reporting myself to the authorities.

Anyway, I thought the cameras may come in useful if anyone ever snatched a kid. But whatever Vault is probably right, they probably want to catch a brat causing property damage or stealing something. They sell cameras like those -- fake ones that you can put up to deter crime. I do not like to see skin either, but the chances are, you saw a lot less of her skin than what is paraded on television each night. My dad likes to sit outside and watch children play. There is nothing wrong with watching kids play. If his girlfriends are of age, there is even less chance that he is any type of pedophile as most of them go for certain ages and have lots of trouble having normal relations. But that does not mean it isn't so. Sometimes we do get a feeling about someone, and years later we find out we were right. On the other hand, when someone is different than we are in one way or another it is easy to make in our minds a picture of who they are some of it accurate and some not. I agree that there may be many reasons he is living with his mother. As he is a neighbor, maybe you should consider striking up a conversation with him.
