I have a nasty neighbor. We have 5 acres here, and so does the nasty neighbor. Anyway, he was deer hunting on my property without my permission, and I told him he is not allowed too. He still did it, so I went back there and took the deer stand down and brought it home. I did give it back to him. He pulled up almost all of my land survey stakes, he had all his junk on my property, and started a bush fire on my property. Ever since I spoke up to him, he calls animal control, and the sheriff department on my dog's. I had ACO come here at 11 AM, then the sheriff came that same day at 9:30 PM. Needless to say they have all seen my dog's, and they all don't have a problem with me or my dog's. I've come to know them both pretty well now!!! To this day, my nasty neighbor is still calling on my dog's. I wish I could get him for harassment, b/c I'm tired of it!!!!!

Okay, my neighborhood is not the greatest! I just did a search for sex offenders within a 2 mile radius and came up with 19!! I have noticed they are over represented in our small town. Much larger cities have fewer than we do.

A couple of them live really close to me. I used to be kinda freaked about it but now I am just glad to keep an eye on the creeps. Last night I was walking the dogs and noted a guy hanging out on the side of one of the pedo's houses. I went back and got the more civil shepherd and my phone. I walked by and my girl took time to sniff and sniff in the street in front of him. I walked a bit more, turned around and was ready to call police. He was gone.

I always let my dogs bark loud and even have done bitework in the front yard. I think it makes the right impression given my neighbors!

The house across the street from us is a rental. Right now an apparently nice couple with a sibe live there. Before we had doozies. I think it was halfway house for awhile.... several strange guys living there. Twice they had police tap around the house... people died in there... TWICE!

The next folks must have been dealing drugs. It was a constantly busy place. One night my husband hears screaming outside. He opens the front door and the girl from across the street is being held down next to my car tire by her boyfriend. She gets away, bolts past my husband, runs through the house and shakes me awake in bed!!

The dogs are going nuts. I think she is one of my teenage son's friends who the dogs have frightened. We have a strange conversation until she finally relays to me who she is. That was exciting and shows you just how fast stuff can happen. Sad to say, my husband was just standing agog in the living room!

Your dog's barking may not seem annoying to you because it's your dog but it might simply annoy him so he tells it to be quiet. Thousands of people all over the country yell at neighbors dogs daily.

So her ass was hanging out, Im sure you see a dozen girls your age dressed as bad if not worse everyday but because she's older than you it's gross?

He knows your dogs name because he's probably heard you calling your dog, I know my neighbors dogs' names for the same reason, doesn't make me a spy or stalker nor does someone being a criminal make you one by relation. What does him smoking having to do with anything at all, it's legal. And Im sure if I worked at disneyland I'd snap eventually and get fired too.

Being 40 and living at home sucks for him but it's no crime, there may be more to it than that, his mom may live with him and he's helping her out, maybe he lost his job in this recession and had to live with her, or maybe she's ill and can't afford to pay someone to aid her so he is instead.

Im just saying, nothing here makes him dangerous. I've read at least half a dozen threads where people on this forum called someone at petsmart or where ever an idiot for being afraid of there dog only to have the members of a GSD forum take the side of the so called "idiot". They're right too, in that sense and IMHO this is no different, could be a normal ol' guy getting bashed online only for being different.

I did learn today that smoking and knowing my neighbor's dog's names makes me suspicious and a potential threat to the community, hmm, actually I own a gun too.

Hold on, in process of reporting myself to the authorities.

Ummm...last time i checked i was just talking about crazy neighbors not what you thought about my situation.Yes this guy is a creep. The cameras are facing an Elementary school, which has little kids, and its also a daycare for those school kids, which are young and not teens, and its also a pre-school, which with kids 2-3 years old.Nothing has happened to cause him to put the cameras up.When we first discovered the cameras, there was on on top of his chimney, facing towards and into my other neighbors backyard, and they have a pool and young girls! The neighbor who has the pool and young daughters asked why he ahd the cameras up, he said not really for any reason, and he said they didnt see far, and that it wasnt plugged in at all. That was a lie, you could clearly see wires going into the chimney going into something. And my other neighbor was at Costco, he saw those cameras, they went up to 50 feet in the day and even farther at night. As soon as we told him about the camera up there, it was immediately taken down. The we discovered the other cameras, and the directions in which they were facing. If you don't think having a camera, facing towards a school with little kids and having a camera facing into someone's house with a pool and young girls is creepy and odd. Then I don't know what is.Too me that sent up a red flag. His girlfriend, was really gross, her singing was a moaning sound. And dressing bad in public with her butt hanging out is inappropriate around others especailly younger people. No one wants to see that, its called common courteousy. And her age had nothing to do with it.The neighborhood I live in is quite safe, there was no incident that would make him all of suddenly put up cameras, especially when they are facing towards a place where there are little children.Thats wrong and inconsiderate of others. My dogs barking is nothin compared to his dogs. The only bark when necessary, and stop barking as soon as we tell him to stop. There is no need for someone, that is so creepy, to know our dogs name, especially someone who has cameras facing towards little children, and is related to someone who sold drugs. To me that is someone I don't want to trust, and know my dogs names. My others neighbors I don't mind knowing my dogs names, is because I trust them, and I dog sit for them and my parents are good friends with them.

And this thread was for people to post something about crazy neighbors.

When we first met him he was nice, but then we heard hings about him, we heard that either him or his brother molested their younger cousins. And I don't mind guns, as long as you have a license. My dad's stepdad has guns, but he is a drunk and going into a house with a drunk with guns, seems kind of dangerous.

My cousins had a dude driving around in a nice car, with neon lights on the bottom and a bag of metal balls hanging at the back of his car. That guy once asked these little kids if they could help find his dog, as soon as the kids mom heard that she came out and the guy jumped in his car and took off.Pedo Alert.

My dad recently turned 75. My parents retired to a very small town where my dad grew up. On his 75th birthday, my mom threw him a cake and ice cream party and invited all of the little kids in town. They had hot dogs and my dad took them for a hay ride, they played silly games like red light-green light (my dad sat on his porch laughing at them). When I heard about it, I told my mom that although it was sweet - it is a small town and people will get to talking. My mom said that it was just too depressing inviting my dad's friends, as most of them have passed or were too ill to come. We have a large family, lots of grand kids and we already have great grandkids. However, we all live in different states. My dad simply misses his family. Sad, but true.

Growing up, yes. We lived in a terrible neighborhood, basically slum type housing with people in an out of jail, drug houses, gangs. Our house was broken into (literally, a big hole was cut through the door). Our bikes and yard toys were stolen on a daily basis, and then when my dad would go get them back a few houses down, the other mother would scream from her porch about my dad taking her babies' toys. The house next door had two boys about our age and their dad was always in jail. The house next to that had a Vietnamese refugee family with a girl my age who would always come by and ask to borrow my bike so I always let her b/c she didn't have one and she always returned it. She liked my old bike b/c it had a banana seat so her little sister could sit on it too. There was some gang activity in the area. One day my brother and I were playing alongside our house and these two teenagers came swaggering down the street. I just knew they were up to no good but I felt guilty for judging them so I pretended they weren't there. Then they were shooting birdshot at us and my brother (who was probably 3-4 years old) started screaming. Our only explanation is that they were doing some kind of gang initiation where you walk around and shoot at kids. The police came and my brother had welts on his little head. Some time later, the guy on the PD gang unit called to say the kid shooting the birdshot at us had been shot dead in the street, gang fight.

We moved into my Grandma's little house in a nicer neighborhood after my Grandpa died. The house I grew up in recently sold for less than $10K, if that's any indication. It was not a small house and it's on a double lot. It's over 100 years old, the original farmhouse when the area was a farm and not a city. I loved the house itself but the neighborhood...good riddance!!!

"I swear the are pedophiles, because they have cameras in front of their house, that face towards to the daycare/elementary school across the street."

Kids suck these days and I would put a camera up too, because something will most likely end up happening to his house and he will have the proof.

"The fact he knows my dogs name"

I know all of my neighbors dogs names and they know my dogs name, nothing odd about that.

"He is related to someone who dealed drugs down the street."

You cant choose your family. My Aunt sells drugs, she is an addict, a begger, a low life, a theif and a *****. I do not do drugs, I dont smoke or drink, I have my own house and a full time job at a Hospital, I dont steal and I am not a *****.

"His dogs are so annoying and one has a biting issue."

How are they annoying? Are they just being dogs? Or are they not trained right?

"He is 40 year old creeper who lives with his mom."

His mother could be sick, with this poor economy she might have lost her job and needs financial help so he moved in.

"Plus the dude's girlfriend was obnoxious, she would sing and it DID NOT sound like singing, it was horrible, she also dressed poorly, like you could see her butt, and thats just gross."

Free country, she can sing if she wants to and she can dress how she wants to. If you got it flaunt it.

"Another thing this guy is 40ish, he lives with his mom, and his girlfriend's were all YOUNGER than him, he is always outside when the kids are at recess, and he smokes, and he worked at Disneyland and got fired."

What's wrong with being 40? My boyfriend is 17 years older than me. I just turned 22 last month and he will be 39 in a couple of months. We have been together for 3 years, he is not a creep, he has a great job and he is a great BF. Who cares of he smokes? People get fired all of the time. He could have called in too many times or he could have been late too many times.
