What does whether or not his dogs are fixed have to do with anything in this discussion?

Jessie---I don't know how old you are, don't be offended if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing maybe something like 12 to 16? (guess based on manner of expression)

What you are doing is making assumptions based on personal bias.
[QUOTE]I swear the are pedophiles, because they have cameras in front of their house, that face towards to the daycare/elementary school across the street./QUOTE]

Well, if you install a security camera because you are or have had a security problem, it is only natural to point the camera in the direction the problem is coming from, the street. The security cameras I've seen don't have enough resolution to make an image of anything more than just a blurry blob of anything as far away as across the street.

[QUOTE]He is 40 year old creeper who lives with his mom./QUOTE]

How do you know that his mother doesn't live with him. It is not unusual for people to move older parents in with them when they get health problems and need more care and someone to watch over them and help them. Let's jump ahead a few decades---let's say that you start having some kind of health problems and need help to be able to take care of yourself. You have a son who is in his 40s and single, and who moves you into his house so that he can help get along. How would it make you feel if people called your son a "40 year old creeper" because he loves you and brought you to live in his house with him so he could take care of you better?

[QUOTE]Plus the dude's girlfriend was obnoxious, she would sing and it DID NOT sound like singing, it was horrible, she also dressed poorly, like you could see her butt, and thats just gross/QUOTE]

Hmmmmmm, sounds to me like a pretty good description of a lot of current punk/rockers, rappers, or other "celebrities". Maybe we'll be seeing her in "People" or "Entertainment" magazines.

[QUOTE]Me and my brother were at Coldstone, and my neighbor and his girlfriend were in front of us.WE SAW HER REAR END! AND THERE WERE OTHER YOUNG CHILDREN THERE!!/QUOTE]

The clothing store? If you find it so "ewwww", what were you and your brother and the other children doing buying clothing there? LOL, just kidding you a little.

[QUOTE]and he worked at Disneyland and got fired(I wonder why?)/QUOTE]

Maybe because there are fewer people going to Disneyland because of the recession, so they fired employees to maintain profits? Like a whole lot of other people right now.

Anyway Jessie, try to base your opinions on the way people are, not the way that they appear. You'll find out how he is by talking to him and getting to know him. If you tell him that it bothers him that he yells at your dog----see what happens. Maybe he doesn't know it bothers you as much as it does.

I do know him and talk to him, but some stuff I do learn about him are odd.And you got my age range totally wrong. He just seems a bit off.He has no need to put up cameras or anything, especially one that was at the top of his chimney looking my other neighbors yard, who has young daughters, and pool.Plus he is outside when the kids across the street and outside playing. Its just seems a bit off.But if you think a grown man putting cameras up in his chimney that are looking directly into another persons backyard, who has young girls is ok. than fine.I don't mind security cameras, but when we first moved into the house, he didnt have the cameras up, but it wasnt till about 2 years ago he put them in.First we discovered the camera on the chimney, then we found the ones in front of his house.I have a friend who has a whole secruity system up including cameras, but she has a reason to put them up, her house has been broken into a few times, she lives in abad neighborhood. But my neighbor really has no reason to put the cameras up, we live in a relativley safe neighborhood, with a police station around the corner.I didn't mind him at first, but after 9 or 10 years living next to him, he all of sudden puts cameras up?one that faces into my neighbors and my yard?We confronted him about it, he said they werent there for any paticular reason, he said they didnt see very far. After that, the next day the camera on the chimney was gone. But my other neighbor saw the cameras at Costco, the cameras went up to 50 feet in the daytime and farther at night. He could have at least told us why he put them up.He is a nice man, but there are some things he does that are odd.Sadly if he was using them to look at children, we probably wouldnt be able to do anything, because the cameras are on his propoerty, and the police might not do anything because he didnt do any physical harm.

But if you think its ok for someone to randomly put a camera on their chimney thats looking into your backyard, or just put up cameras all off sudden after 9 0r 10 years living there, then ok.

And his mom owns the house, not him.She isnt that old and still works for a living, unlike him.She is in very good health condition. His mom and brother are very nice, his other brother has a mental issue, his mom told us, so i can see why he lives there. But his issue isnt that bad, because he can drive and stuff. They never had their house broken into or anything. And Coldstone isnt a clothing store, its an ice cream parlor.he was fired before the recession, about 3 years ago he was fired. He is a nice, but just some things are a little off.My parents are and the neighbors who had the camera facing into their yard, are a little iffy about him sometimes.I don't mind his gf, but when you are public you should dress more nicely, not like a bum.She is also very nice, but her singing is quite annoying, she has stopped.....for now.I base my opinions on what I know.If he hadn't put the camera up on his chimney(which is in the back not the front) maybe I wouldnt be so upset about it.But when we saw the camera, that put some red flags up.

I don't know if they are fixed(they arent GSDs, they are Cocker Spaniels)Its just weird how he has to yell at my dog, but yet his dogs are worse, with biting and aggression issues, and they have little socialization(they hardly bring them outside in the front yard or take them for walks).

Dunno how I missed this gem

Im honestly not even trying to start anything here, Im just curious how it's possible for a camera to see farther at night than in the day, it just doesn't make any sense to me. 50' isn't far at all, chances are that's the distance from his chimney to the end of his yard. Even within that 50' radius he's not going to be able to make out much detail especially with some bargain bin security camera.

So if the kids were across the street near the school where they should be in the first place they'd be far outside of his range. Even the teenage girls behind him in their backyard swimming would be too far for him to see. It wouldn't matter if they were nude or in full winter clothing all he'd see is a blurry blob.

My dad installed some half decent security cameras inside the local church. These were inside away from the glare of the sun in a well lit hallway so that they could see who was coming through the doors.

I watched the screen as a woman came through the door and passed 10' from the camera and her face was still relatively blurry. These cameras had night vision too but they didn't have the black magic option that allowed them to see farther at night. Maybe he bought his from the NSA . . . . . . Since you were confused by the relation of 1941 and WWII (that's World War II (The two I's mean 2, that's two) ) NSA is National Security Agency.

Well Jessie---maybe he is what you say. I don't know him. It just seemed to me that you had already made up your mind about him based on your dislike for him due to your being mad about your dogs.

That is why I mentioned it----and as you can see, assumptions can be wrong. So, now I know.

It's nice to know that many of our newer members are such non-judgmental people.

Not to get breed specific or anything, but cocker spaniels can be a rather nasty breed. I think they are high on the list of biters. So maybe you have an easier job with your sheps than he does, he knows it and is jealous. It is easy to see what is wrong with everyone else's dog, but the fact they they are intact or alterred does not make them good or bad, good people or bad people, responsible people or irresponsible people, or pedophiles.

ok, you say that it's a nice neighborhood. but you also say that his cousin has been known to deal drugs. Which means that some members of the family are "shady" and by association probably know other shady people. Maybe cousin Sam has the same bad habit of other drug heads - he likes to steal from his family to support his habit.

So since Cousin Sam has already broken into Grandma's house and stolen her TV, the other member's of the family decided to be proactive and make their homes less attractive to Cousin Sam and his loser buddies? And, by extension, that makes his neighbor's homes less attractive to Cousin Sam.

Lots of people have lost their jobs (esp in this economy) and have moved back in with parents or relatives. Disney is a very service oriented employer. I know, hubby and I both worked for WDW in Orlando. When less people take vacations, then people lose their jobs. Even though his mother is employed, maybe her employer has cut back on pay, or benefits, or charges more for insurance than they did before. So her money is tighter than it was before.

As others have said, 50' is not very far at all.

Drugs are nasty. We had a lawyer living a few houses down from my parents, and this IS a good neighborhood. Well he got caught with a meth lab in his garage or basement and for possessing cocaine. Last I heard he was in jail. Never heard anything bad about the rest of the family, and in small towns you usually hear everything about everybody. I think that in larger towns and cities it is a lot more likely that you are in contact with a lot more people who have run amok because of drugs, or who have family members who have than you want to think about.
