Our neighbour has nothing to do, as far as we know, to do with children, but has a loathing of animals, of any kind. Which is funny, 'cause his current live-in girlfriend owns a dog! We believe he has been responsible for the deaths of a rescue Afghan, our 2 Scotch Collies, Pitbul x Great Dane and cats/kittens. We have documented all this with the police. The rescue Affie, had poisoned rats taken out of his mouth, 2 very healthy Collies dropped dead at out feet. Our Pitty x was found when I arrived home after helping set up a hall for my son's grad. all day, to find that he had died an awful death from poisoning...I had rescued him while driving my son to college...'Jean-Luc', was a puppy running along the road, 2 buses and a car had almost hit him, so I pulled up and he was our's...obviously dumped! We had him over a yr..wasn't a barker, just a very gentle soul. Small pieces of gutter guard soaked in fish muck, have been thrown over the fence in an effort to choke and kill our dogs. My son's 2 cats 'disappeared' suddenly! I made inquiries around the neighbourhood, only to be told he lured cats into his yard with fish heads in a cage and then 'dispposed' of them! Other folk's cats had disappeared. Our's are no longer let outside. I had the misfortune of hearing the death of one cat...sounded like he had wrung it's neck!!!
Also another neighbour had informed me that he had complained of their grand daughter's 2 guinea pigs....if they came into his yard, they were dead...he was their friend!
His gf was away over Christmas, so he sat down by the side of the road...hat, chair, book, mobile, for hours with her (baby) dog running free....we guessed that he could just tell her it was 'accidently' hit by a car and that would put an end to that little problem! Needless to say, it had luck on it's side.
We have a AVO on him, as he was drunk at the supermarket and kept barring my way up an isle, my bf came up and placed himself between us, so this moron started to bash him to get to me...a staff person witnessed it, reported it, but he fled the shop.
With our latest furbubs, I let a friend/neighbour of his know that if anything happened to them 'all **** would break loose'! With the AVO, the police questioning him and our small 'threat', he hasn't done anything for awhile.
He built his house 8yrs after us knowing full well that we had dogs....no-one else has ever complained, they have various dogs themselves. His gf's dog is left at home all day and suffer's from anxiety/abandonment issues. I mentioned this to her, for the dog's sake and she said that "It was her dog's way of telling her it loved and missed her"...go figure! Doesn't concern her that we have to listen to it's pitiful whinning all day!
They are both at retirement age, neither have children and have nothing to do with their time except poke the noses into other's live's, pitiful pair...everyone is not perfect, but there is something more than a little queer about folk, whom dislike furkids so!!!
Could say more, but have rambled enough....

My god what an evil man.You know they have studies that show when someone abuses animals, more than likely they will be a murderer, or something bad in the future. But thats if they are young. This man needs to see a therapist or something. And that woman should not own a dog! Can't you call animal police?Poor thing.I am so sorry about your dogs and cats.

I think it's sort of the other way around. Murderers are more likely to have abused an animal, not people who abuse animals are more likely to be murderers. The wording can make a big difference hehe.

I don't think all pedophiles should be condemned. I think they have a serious mental problem, and it can be arguable if perhaps this is their sexual orientation. If they are receiving psychiatric help, or are able to self manage their desires then good for them. Not all people who are sexually attracted to children go on to molest them. You should take precautions with your children, but I don't think it's necessary to throw them in jail to rot when they haven't actually done anything and they are able to manage themselves.

Not saying this particular man is managing himself properly, it just seems like in many cases pedophiles are unable to be rehabilitated of their sexual attraction to children and I don't think it's their fault. It's only when they go on to act on their attraction, because THAT is a choice.

I was watching an episode and some guy was an activist for child-adult relationships, in otherwords he thought children and adults should have relationships.

Seriously? you hate kids? Wow! I can't even imagine that feeling, kids are the most wonderful thing in this world, just saying.

Anyway, to chime in here I would be concerned at the very least with the cameras. I wouldn't be concerned as the OP with just my GSD but if I had a child in that school and someone had cameras on that school then, yes, I would call the cops and have it checked out.

Man, there is a lot of freaks in this world.
Luckily I don't have anyone living inside of 3 miles of me, and my place is pretty much in the middle of my property so I won't ever have close neighbors. Truly is "Gods country" after reading this thread.

I used to go to that school, plus i know some kids there.its not only an elementary school its also a daycare for kid 2-3 years old. They had a camera facing into my other neighbors backyard, who has a pool and young girls who are like my little sisters. So yes I should worry about my cameras.I do care about my GSD, because he yells at my dog to shut up when he is not even barking as obnoxiously as his dogs and one of his dogs has a biting issue, he doesnt even socialize his dogs, they recently got a new one, i highly doubt his dogs are fixed. He tried to show me how to walk my dogs once(my previous dogs) and they weren't even pulling or walking wrong, he tried to take my dog's leash out of my hands, my dog growled, then he said you should control your dog.My dog just stood there and growled. His dog was in the front yard, and saw my cousin and charged after her.Yea, i need to control my dog.I am concerned because the cameras and my GSDs.

If the cameras bother you buy a high powered laser and cook them trust me it will work. If you want I can post links of ones that will do the job but it's not going to be cheep. Ever looked at the price of a 2 watt green laser? I have one but well you don't live even close to me. To cook the camera simply point the beam at the lens and hold it there for a few mins. This will really mess up the ccd sensor. Oh and don't point that kind of laser at someones face because they will be blinded most likely for good with just a flash.

This is James' and my hope in life, definately not a neighbour in site!

In regards to our neighbour, he was left there in court arguing with a very bored judge, that he will now be unable to become a
lolly-pop man! A true loss to society!
