Little Big Planet ?
Does anyone have this / play this? DH downloaded the demo and it looks like it could be fun.

It's really fun. The main game gets really difficult so it's not that great for people who don't play a lot of platformers(like me). I think the real fun is going online and playing the levels made by fans. They're generally easier, but it's sometimes hard to find quality ones.
It's a great multiplayer game; perhaps more so than single player. Guess it depends on how you like to play games though

I've played it, I really like it! It's a great multi-player game like RenosMom said, and it's a lot of fun creating your own levels. Less fun if your friends like making impossibly difficult levels to play through. It's also pretty easy to pick up even if you don't regularly play video games, and relatively forgiving. I haven't tried the online play yet.
