Default New food cravings.

Ok, now this is really strange.

Before I had my gall bladder out I used to like to have an occasional beer. I've always been abit on the heavy side and figured it was because of the empty calories.

While going through the agony of waiting for surgery I managed to loose over 40 lbs. I looked great and felt better then I have in years.

Now fast forward to today. It's been 3 months since my surgery and I've noticed some strange food changes.
First I hate the smell of beer. In fact any alcohol seems to have no appeal to me. And yes, that is a good thing.

Now for the twilight zone catagory, I crave sweets! I mean, I could sit and eat chocolate bars and donuts and what ever all day long. I have never had a sweet tooth like this in my life.
I've already gained 10 lbs and I'm horrified at myself.

So am I the only one who has been affected in this way? Has anyone else notice a difference in the way they eat after surgery?

Even better question, does anyone have a good solution for getting back on track?

That is a strange one.All the people I have known has lost weight after due to the body adjusting to not having the gallbladder to do what it does.
Willpower is my only suggestion. When you find it send some to me because I lost mine a long time ago..

Your right about the Alcohol. You dont need it , and you know where the Beer Weight goes-Right to the belly area. But who doesnt constantly crave chocolate and dounuts etc. thats my poison!
