I work for a college and last week one of the students collapsed b/c she had a blood clot in the brain. I don't know this girl or her family, but for some reason I have been following it closely. Perhaps because my DH has had neurological problems, perhaps because when I was a student one of my roommates had a re-lapse of cancer and was in the hospital around this same time of year (and sadly she died, 20 yrs old). So I have been following all the Care Pages updates the second they come out. I feel terrible because she is from a different state, so her family had to be away from home, with her in a coma here, over their Thanksgiving. So if you prayer or send vibes, please send them their way. She is alive but the outcome is unknown. She was kept in a coma but is now being let off because she is getting infections. I think the next few days will be critical when it comes to assessing her brain function. I don't want her friends and family to lose her so young like we lost our Amanda.

I will be sending hopeful and healing vibes for a positive outcome to this young lady and her family. What a heartbreaking situation, especially at this time of year.

There is a lady that I know in the same place as your friend, does not look good, she fell at her church Wed.(due to the clot?) and her brain is unresponsive.
Your friend will be added to my prayers/thoughts. Very hard for the family to go thru this, as Metalsmith wrote, this time of year. |
