Tiger and Rushie did not hit it off well. Tiger has a couple of staples as a souvenir of the Rush visit. I feel bad, but I warned them that it may not work out between the adult males. Rush has never been an idiot in class with other dogs, has passed the CGC four times, well, anyway, he is home, and I do not think anyone is too angry about it.

Well, Rush is almost four and Tiger is six (I thought seven). Both want to be king of the mountain. Tiger attacked him the moment he entered the house the other night. The day before yesterday, though, they were able to get them in the same room without a problem.

I was not there, so I do not know how the fight began, but I think they gave a little too much leeway too soon. Rush has been with me since he was ten weeks. Tiger has been with them since eight weeks. So both felt they could be king of the mountain. I do not know what was going through the furry head. Prey drive likely, or dominant thing.

I get the impression their dog had very little exposure to other dogs. Rushie has, but always in a controlled setting. We could maybe have introduced them better. But they got home at about 2:30AM and were not going to go to a park or anything to introduce them.

My brother feels that they got off on the wrong foot. My driving down there to pick him up, and transport the new big screen tv that didn't fit in their car, and apologizing didn't hurt I don't suppose.
