Hi guys
I wanted to post my third project for my Flash animation class which was to make an entire web site using just the Flash program for a fictitious company, I chose an animal rescue as my business. Check out the video on the "message from us" page, it has Lulu in it and that's my daughter on the far right. I was trying to stop myself from laughing so I sound awful narrating, and I didn't write a script and couldn't think of what to say so ignore me LOLLet me know what you think! Oh, I'm not done with it, I have to think up some spiffy animation for the front page and also the animals I put on the adoption link are real bio's from a local shelter here and the email works to go to them, not me, if you are interested and in the area Sebastian is looking pretty cute to me!http://www.graphicmastersdesign.com/

I like it, especially the instant information you get when you select a button - much better than normal websites, especially for those of us who use a SLOW modum.

I like it! My only suggestion would be to have the links open on a new page.

Thanks guys for checking it out and the comments!
Arycrest, that's the good thing about Flash pages is that once the main graphic loads it's all there and much quicker. Strana, great catch, thanks so much! Those definitely should open in their own page, I will change that!

I checked it out earlier today, just didn't have a chance to post yet. I think it looks really nice. You can tell you really put a lot of thought into the design. My only major issue was it isn't centered on the page. Just a minor grievance I have.

I've seen Projects 1 and 3 but somehow missed the second one. What was it?

I have a graphic design background so forgive me if I sound too picky.
- First I like your color choices. The blue is good for an animal page because it doesn't compete with common fur colors. A darker blue stripe across the very top might “anchor” the header a bit more. - My biggest suggestion would be the location of the menu. With my screen set up, I had to scroll down to see the buttons. At first, I didn't catch on. I waited for some animation before thinking to scroll. Since you can't rely on everyone's screen dimensions being the same size, I would suggest moving the menu to the side or top. If you really like it at the bottom, add a graphic element that would lead the eye to the bottom of the page or even add text to it that says "for more info" or "menu". Maybe some paw prints? - On the links page, I would suggest some animation to show that they are active links, color change on roll over, underline, icon that appears to the left of the words... something to visually indicate to the user that it is a link. Overall, I think you have done a great job. Flash can be very time consuming, so kudos to you. I would love to see it when you are finished, and looking forward to hearing about the "A" grade you get.

I agree, when I post it in class I am actually going to send the .swf file which is why I didn't center it but I think I will and then give them the web link as well.
