Yup, Emily should make a movie. That is very interesting. Meet the Ex's or something.

Yes, she gets the medal. Do they Ex's bring their dogs too? That would be great!

AND more about this idea Jenn. GSD Hoilday sounds wonderful. Let's all meet in Colorado...make it a new holiday tradition. Book all the hotels or cabin's that accept pets of course!

Anyone in the RI area wishing to borrow LJ (a/k/a Cujo) for a meet and greet with the in-laws, let me know.

My in laws arent the problem, we get along great. If I have a party for any reason my MIL gets mad if I dont let her bring something

my family on the other hand or at least certain members are free loaders. My mom, sister and nieces are coming for Thanksgiving from TN, we have been planning this for almost 2 months. My sister is a single parent. She is bringing a list of things that she can travel with and not need to put in the cooler. My other sister who lives like 1 mile away is bringing a can of sweet potatos, potatos for mashed potatos and a second veggie. She will also be bringing her husband, 3 kids, and containers to take home leftovers in. But the leftovers will be after she feeds her family (we always eat early) Thanksgiving dinner, plus a late day meal....things wer so much easier when they lived up north!

Emily I think it is great that you can get along with your Ex and his family for your daughter. My ex used to be like that till he remarried

Yeah, Emily takes the cake! I admire that though....and wish my DH family could do that too.

Just the people the doggies the activity. It sounds wonderful. My mom, dad and brother are passed away. DH's family is in South Africa. His Mom came once for Christmas. It was terrible, of course. But I miss her still. I wish I had a house full this Christmas. Tons of people to shop for...etc.

I know I am a nut. But you do miss it when it is gone.

Sorry you have to go through all this, think positive, hopefully this year will be better. Just look at them and think I'm gonna miss you when your gone.
