My first cat Sammy is on the way to the ER right now without me. I can barely speak. Shes almost 14 years old. Never had an issue in her entire life. I was sitting here cutting coupons and heard her crying upstairs. My husband went to check and called me over. Her whole rear end is paralyzed and she had peed herself. She cant walk. She looks scared. My other cat Nala, her bff, is pretty upset. I was getting my shoes and my husband said he didnt want me to drive cause I was so upset. Both kids are in bed and so someone had to stay home. Of all of our animals he loves her the best and I know thats one reason why he wanted to go. I told her I loved her and that it would be okay. Gave her lots of kisses. I am really really hoping that I see her again. I'm just so sad right now...

This board has always been so great about sending out good thoughts and positive vibes. I need some now please.

So now I sit here and wait for the phone call. I brought her home at 8 weeks old from the Norfolk SPCA...almost 14 years ago.

I just had that happen with my kitty...it sounds exactly the same...saddle thrombus. It's when they throw a blood clot and it lodges in their artery and paralyzes them. I will be praying for you! pm me if it is...

I just wish I could be there...I feel like I should be there. Dh will take care of her though so I have faith in that. Thank you for thinking of us. I just dont know what to do.
