Another Missing Girl Here
A man I know, Jay, has had a rough time of it. When my sister moved 2 years ago my gift to her was to pay for his moving services as a housewarming present for her and he worked hard all day to get her moved. He seems to be a good guy himself and a hard worker just trying to do the best he can with the hand he was dealt.
He is from NYC and grew up rough. Several years ago his wife and sister were shot and his sister killed at their house. His wife was almost killed but survived although badly disfigured in the face. His son and daughter were in the room during shooting. A few years ago he moved his family down here to try to get away from this environment but even here his son fell in with the wrong crowd. Last year his son, age 19, was involved in a drive-by shooting and killed an innocent woman who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is strange as the son seems so nice and polite it was hard to hear that he had done that! He was unwilling to give up his accomplice which angered the family of the woman shot and killed. He plead out and was sentenced recently. The womans family has been sending threats saying they were going after Jays family and now his daughter went missing on the way to school this morning and it seems that perhaps she was taken as revenge as promised. Although Jays son was 100% wrong, his daughter doesn't deserve this! I just got off the phone with this man and he is on his way to the police dept to file a missing persons report. I sure hope that if she was taken that they let her go and consider it a warning.

OMG, That is horrible, poor little girl.!!!. I hope they don't hurt her and hand her back to the family. Sometimes it is unbeliveabley mind blowing to see what people can do when they are in extreme anger. Just praying for the little girl, I hope she is ok (fingers crossed)

I am hoping that the girl just took off on her own but the family that was threatening are some seriously bad news kind of people so it is a real possibility that revenge has been taken.
Poor girl has had such a rough life, watching her aunt killed, mom shot, brother being put away for life.(whether he deserved it or not, still her brother) Some people just get the short hand in life.

How horrible. I hope his daughter is return very soon unharmed. This little girl did not do anything to deserve this

I just found out that Durham Police found the girl this morning.... She was left in a sleezebag motel where the person obviously had paid cash for the room. She had been raped but is alive. I don't know any other details yet but I find this whole thing so wrong on so many levels. This poor girl had nothing to do with what her brother did.
