I have a tip/suggestion for anyone considering applying for this job. If the USAjobs site is anything like the Army's CPOL site, the list of applicants is first picked based on key words found in your resume before it goes on to actual Human Resources who will pick applicants for interview. It's important that your resume contains the key words they are looking for - often the words used in the job description.

So, example, if the job listing says you must have experience as a sign painter for a job, that word (sign painter) better be somewhere in your resume. Enhances your chances of your resume getting picked and forwarded to their HR department for hire.

That's what our trainer's boyfriend did before he moved to the Bay Area with her last year - he was with the MWD program at Lackland for years: http://www.ramseyk9.com/RamseyK9Bio.html

That would be an awesome job!!!

AbbyK9 is right, your resume needs to insure that it has the key words and phrases needed to qualify. I have had several people tell me thay applied for a lot of federal jobs and could not get qualified and wh n I look at the resumix submission is does not have the key words even tho they have experience in the field. The folk that review resumes and determine who makes the Best/Highly/Qualified lists are not the hiring offiical so thay can only read what is presented to them.
