Default Hip x-rays, help evaluating please!

I took my foster in for heatworm treatment, and while they were taking the chest x-rays prior to treatment, the vet threw in one for his hips. I had been concerned about his hips because he was VERY pigeon-toed at first, but his muscle tone was HORRIBLE because of poor/insufficient nutrition. Anyone want to comment on them? He's not really set up well, but it WAS just a free x-ray, not one for OFA...

It looks good to me, unfortunately I'm not an expert.

The right side looks good, can't really get an accurate reading on the left, but I bet if it was positioned better it would also be good. Looks like the ball is well seated in the socket. I'm not an expert, but I've seen a lot of bad hips while working at the vet and to me. if the left looks like the right does they woud probably ofa good.

They look good to me too, but we will leave it to the experts to see what they say

Looks good from what the X-ray is showing. If the left leg was rotated and positioned properly you would get a better look at that side.

Thanks all! I feel better knowing they're not horrible after seeing the way he moved at first. The vet said 'good', too, but I always like more feedback. I'd like to get them done properly to send to OFA, it might help with finding him a 'forever home'.
