Are there and Sable breeders here?

I was wondering if we have any Grey Sable Breeders in the house? I have some questions

Sable is extremely common in working lines, and happens from time to time in American lines too.

I don't know of any breeders who are "sable breeders" in the sense that they are striving for that color. But most breeders of the above types are going to have sables.

What do you want to know?

Thank you for your quick response. I'm fostering a sable pup and some say she's a mix but when I looked up sable pup images I found a pic that looked just like her

This is a photo from the shelter she was at. She was an owner surrender.

She's a regular sable.

She has some pretty big patches of white on her paws, especially the left forepaw. I wouldn't be surprised if another breed jumped into her family tree. Other than that, she's a sable and looks otherwise pure and VERY cute.

How old do you think she is? She seems small..she may have been the runt? her paws are not very big. The full grown sable is 55 lbs (right lh?).

Are the working lines smaller?

yes you're right we have a 2 yr old sable and she's 55lbs
