Default Apaches progress

A couple weeks ago, coincidentally on her first bday I left her out of the cage at night accidentally. I got woken up with kisses and yelled her to go in the cage downstairs and she did. I did that 2 days in the row but dont want to push it. Today I left her free in the house while shopping for the first time. Everything seemed ok, but when I called her upstairs she acted guilty for no reason and went into her cage- she might have snuck up there and done something? I dont see her peeing or pooping so who knows? At least were working toward her being a free dog- she cant protect my house from in a cage anyways.

dogs have memories like elephants, you yelled at her a couple times when she WAS upstairs to go to her crate, so now she probably isn't going upstairs because she figures your going to yell at her..Stop yelling at her

Because she woke me up by stepping all over me and licking me- bad manners. Its nice that she may be free soon, I can remember her chewing alot of random stuff in the backyard though and I dont want any of that in the house.

No not bad manners, just trying to be near you. If that annoys you just take her and lead her to her crate without any fuss. That way you won't negatively good behavior - like voluntarily going to her crate.
