Default My old boy Tank

I have to share this story last summer I was in the driveway working on my 62 Cadillac. It was a beautiful day the house windows and doors were open and Mr Bailey (pitbull) and Tank (gsd) were both sitting at the screen door enjoying the breeze and watching what I was doing. I was underneath the car on the jackstands leaving me almost no wiggle room. After 30 minutes or so Tank stood up and started barking like crazy he never does this. I looked around the tireat him, and he stopped so I went back to work not a minute later he kicked the screen door open and came out snarling like a madman it was then I noticed two stray bully breed dogs standing at my feet staring at me. As I scrambled as fast as I could out from under the car. Tank got right between us and chased off the strays, never attacking or biting at all just using his size and show of force to scare them. once they left he went right back to his normal happy go lucky self. I later found Mr Bailey hiding in the backroom behind the bed. And people say pitbulls are viscous dog/man eaters. Tank could have saved me that day I don't know what could have happened but god am I glad he was watching me like he always does. This was maybe 4 months after we officially adopted tank from a neighborhood stray to a new family member

I heard a story on the news. A stray dog was out and about. This woman and her baby were getting in the car. As he put the baby in some man came up and put her at knife point. This stray dog, never knowing the woman goes after the attacker and he flees. The woman them adopted the dog.
Dogs are so freaking smart. Tank is your little angel
