I know it is probably silly to post this, but it made my night! I am sitting on the couch after a 10 day at work and my reading glasses fell on the floor. Benny immediately got up, picked them up and just gave them to me!
Those little things

very nice. i would encourage that act.
i taught my dog to pick things up if i dropped them. i thought it was fun thing for them to do plus it was one more to teach. when i'm walking along i drop things intentionally for my dg to pick them up. i normally drop my wallet, his leash. when we go to the bank i drop the change box. the change box is a little 3x3, 4x4 card board box.
