Our little guy, Yazhi, is a white german shepherd mix. At only 11 weeks old, and only having him for a little over a week, our little guy has proven to be a smartie!! He has learned to sit, lay down, shake, kiss, and stay. He will even stay when I put a treat right in front of him, until I tell him he can go.
Now all we need to work on is the crate, his attachment to me, and not chewing on eevvverryythhinngg! Puppies will be puppies I suppose :P Oh and here is where I could use some opinions (I would post elsewhere but I can't figure out how to post anywhere else on this site) We want a second dog, not a puppy. We want a very submissive dog (since german shepherds can be so hard-headed) that is female and maybe a year or two older than him so that maybe she takes on the role as the leader. I also feel that this could help Yazhi not be so attached. We were told that a Golden Retriever would be the best bet for the submissive dog so we have been looking at shelters around our area. Good idea?? Let me know ![]() -Jayme |
