Both of my dogs have been through group classes as well as training at home with me. I've been a little disappointed in the results. However, in the last couple of weeks, it's been like a light bulb went off for them. Even when distracted, they are listening. They still have a lot of work to do but I'm excited.
I even took each of them (on different days) to the bus stop where there are other dogs and lots of people and they both behaved beautifully!

congrats! I can appreciate what a good feeling that is to see both of your GSD respond. Just in the last couple of months, I get excited myself thinking Judah is finally growing up - he is 16 months old but has shown a lot of improvement.
