Ok, so I know I should probably post this in agility forum- but I am one proud momma- so in Braggs we go!
Dooney and I went to a obedience/agility class today that is taught by an ex K9 teacher, who of course LOVES GSDs. He used her as a demonstration dog and she did SOOO good. She heeled well (still not perfect) she stopped well, sat well, just did everything very weel (again not perfect at all- but SOOOO much better) shows me my recent hard work has been paying off. He did note however that she appears to have fear aggression around some dogs. so after some obedience we started agility, on leash. we had to start off jumping the jumps with our dogs (someone is definately out of shape - and i don't mean the dog!!) then we worked on stairs and the A frame (great on stairs, so so on the a frame) she LOVES the tunnels, i was even able to get her to go in the tunnel with a 90 degree turn in it (one of a few that would do it) so after a few practice sections on each "station" we did a complete loop around the course- i was able to just run beside the jumps, i let the leash go for the tunnels and the tires and she continued to go through where she was supposed to go off leash!!! until we go the jumps, i went ahead and picked up the leash again so it didnt get caught up in the jumps. So very very proud of my girl today and the instructor was impressed and said she seems to be a natural, and he is also going to start doing nosework training (he is also working with the local police K9s) and he would love for us to do that class as well. ![]()

It was a really great day!! Tonight I took her out trick or treating with my mom and nephew- she did AWESOME with all the kids being all over the place and being pretty good about not pulling and that is just after one class!
thanks!

I hate to admit that Stosh loves agility! Much more than I do. We took the class because our herding trainer had knee surgery and we needed something to do. He has a blast just like Dooney! Good job
