Smile Amy is a CGC

My nine year old daughter took our GSD for CGC testing today, and passed! It was fun (and cute!). It was also fun to see several other dogs testing, and there happened to be a few German Shepherds and a Malinois too!

Congrats! Sounds like a great family experience! I love that your 9 year daughter is so involved with your dog.

that is awesome!!! Did i read that right? Your 9 year old handled her? If yes, VERY COOL!! I always love seeing and hearing about kids who are so involved and can handle the dog appropriately. Wicked cool! Congrats!!

Thanks, all! My daughter had her first year of dog 4H last year, and has a great trainer at her club. Our GSD is fairly mellow and very sweet, and doesn't "rank" our family in importance near as much as our other dogs. She listens to my daughter very well...in fact the only thing holding them back is my daughter's training skills, which keep getting stronger as she practices.....
