Default Nothing better then a dog that listens on a hike.

I don't know if it's a brag. But I took my 6 month old pup on a leash walk around the hood to the woods. We have lots of coyote so I don't like to let her run. Today the firefighters were out with chainsaws clearing brush so I figured the coyotes would not be around.

I let Cookie off leash and she was so good. She would run off and then stop and look for me. I tell her good girl and we go on. She would charge after little fluffy animals and always came back when called. She would always keep an eye on me and listen to my comamds. If I change directions I say "this way" she quickly turned and followed. If she was going too far ahead I say "wahoo" she slowed down and waited.

For me happiness is watching my dog run free threw the woods on a hike. I love it and it's been so long since I had a dog to hike with.

I am so proud of my pup her recall is pretty much perfect. I can't wait to take her mountain biking with me.

I love watching dogs doing what they were born for, and sniffing around hiking in the woods is part of that.

Congratulations. Can't beat walking or running through the woods knowing your dog will stay close off leash.
