My 7 month old shepherd is doing great in her training!!
she had her 2nd intermediate obedience class last night and it could not have gone any better. (this one tests for cgc) She was really well behaved for sit/stays and came when told, stayed when told and was just an over all great girl... (she kinda showed off to some other dogs while she was at it.) we are still working on focusing on me when in heel but there has been serious improvement. only problem i had was this one lady that is in this class... she has a great border collie that is already titled in rally and oedience and for some reason is in this class, god knows why... and she was next to me and my dia and for our sit/stay (walk away, then break it with a come back to sit) dia had already had her turn and this lady looked at me (while her dog was no longer on leash) and was like "don't let your shepherd lunge at my dog" THE NERVE OF HER... my dog was on PERFECT behavior and was sitting next to me focused at my treats and she was acting like she was a roudy mutt... that just bothered me but dia proved her wrong so perfectly! what a perfect little angel
