Default First night out of crate!!

We left Dooney out of her crate for the first time last night! After getting up a few times to take away different bones/chew toys, she did great! No whining, though she was a little confused as to why she wasn't locked up. Woke DH up at 6am to go outside to go potty.

So proud of my baby girl!!!

How old is she?
Congratulations, by the way.
Do you keep your bedroom door closed?
We still do, even though Abby is 2 ... we sleep better that way.
She was out of the crate at night at about 5 months.

did your dog sleep in your room? sometimes i was insulted
when my dog (4 months old) didn't sleep in our bedroom.
my dog was out of his crate at 4 months old.
from 4 months old to 8 months old he was fine.
then at 8 months old he decided to eat the house
and everything in it. from 8 months to 1.5 years old
he crated. he was only crated when we weren't home.

She is eight months old. When she was 4 months old- she was sick one night and i slept on the couch and she slept on her bed in the living room she was great then too.

She basically stayed in our bedroom on my side of the bed. I can't close the bedroom door because of Jake (my cat) he HATES being behind closed doors (was left in an apartment and not found for 2 weeks- i rescued him) he will tear up the carpet and the door trying to get out.

When the DH left for work- she hopped up in the bed with me and the 2 cats and went back to sleep

I am hoping she stays good- we left her out of crate when we went out to dinner tonight too (all doors shut) and she did awesome
