Default Socialization brag!

So tonight was my son's first baseball practice and we brought Franks along. The fields where the practice were held was actually four fields in one so I knew going there that there would be tons of kids and lots of noise with cheering parents, younger siblings running amock, etc. I have worked really hard with Frankie since he was younger being comfortable in various situations but nothing this chaotic before so I was prepared to wait in the car with him if it was too overwhelming. I sold our boy short because he did FANTASTIC!

The second we walked onto the grounds from the parking lot Frankie was most definitely interested in all the new sights and sounds but he didn't lose his cool at all. He didn't pull on his lead walking to the bleachers nor did he get overly friendly with anyone being so close to him.

We sat a little on the edge to give him a little space and he layed down and relaxed shortly after we all settled in. Three different parents came over with their toddlers and asked if they could pet Frankie. We made sure he was on his best behavior first and he just lapped up the extra lovin' with pleasure Only one time did he need a little reminding and that was when a few kids playing catch outside of the fence missed a ball and it went right by us. Frankie jumped up and wanted to chase it but a quiet ah ah and he just watched the tempting sucker roll on by.

I know this is expected behavior and just good manners but I am so proud of our boy I had to share
