Default A Stormy Brag

Last week while we were driving home from class, Frank and I got caught in an area with a tornado. It was storming the worst I've ever had to drive through. Tornado sirens going off constantly and the radio kept saying the tornado had been spoted within a mile of us. At one time the car felt like it was actually trying to vibrate off the highway it was the wierdest feeling. The noise from the sirens was so loud it sounded like they were in the truck with us at times.

Through all of that I have to brag that my 14 month old pup laid right where I told him to and didn't make a sound or move. I drive an SUV and he is confind to the back area but he didn't try to get to the front to me or nothing, the few times I was able to glance at him he was laying there all calm looking at me like "Ok Mom this is new, but we can do it"

What a good boy, Frank! Half of my family lives in Southern Indiana. They are always telling me about the tornadoes that come by their way. Scary stuff.

It was very scary. It just hit all of a sudden, didn't even look like rain when I left for class.
Churchill Downs was hit and several barns were taken out but they said none of the horses were seriously hurt.
This seems to be a bad year for tornados we've spent several nights in the basement. We've been really lucky with only having a little wind damage so far this year.
