She learned to swim!!!

Freyja has always been interested in water, from the day she first saw a puddle and attacked the submerged leaves (there is nothing funnier than a 20+lb GSD giving death growls underwater at leaves), to our frigid March wading. Today I visited my childhood pond with Freyja, Preston and my Dad. Freyja jumped after a stick that was in the water and before she knew it her feet were no longer touching bottom. Within minutes she was swimming out to see everything in the pond, because apparently swimming to the object is easier than getting out of the water, running 50 paces and smelling said object. I am so happy for her. I was convinced that to get her to swim I was going to have to go into the water myself.

(don't worry, we have a whole summer for that adventure)

I would update pictures but I have no idea how to get them from my phone to photobucket, so they are on my Facebook pictures. Sorry.

Awesome!

You should be able to upload to photobucket from a mobile device, the same way you did from your phone to FB - I'm sure I've seen something like that on the photobucket site, but I've never used it because I don't take pictures with my phone. Barring that, you can take them off FB and save them to your computer (or save directly to your computer from your phone?) and then upload to photobucket from there.

*Ah, yes - when you click on "album options" and select "upload photos and videos" there's a dropdown box that says "upload from:", and your options include "email" and "mobile phone". *
