Party Boy
I took Havoc to a loud party with multiple dogs tonight. He interacted with everyone and was polite and self assured. A blue heeler snuck up on him and nipped him on the flank and he screamed bloody murder, but was quickly comforted. He found a safe place behind another experienced German Shepherd owner but he recovered from the sneak attack within 3 minutes and regained his confidence.
He was remarkably calm amidst the crazy. We only stayed for an hour--we're old. I had a nice time talking dogs with an acquaintance who has done schutzhund in the local club. It was a challenging environment for a 16 week old pup and I could not have asked for a better boy. He has nerves of steel. |
