Default Arko was perfect at the Vet today!

Just wanted to bragg a little on my boy. He was absolutely perfect today. He never wimpered, whined or resisted at all. He even lifted his butt for the tech when she raised his tail for the fecal exam and to take his temp. When they drew blood, he actually seemd to straighten his leg to help her out. I was so impressed and the Dr was amazed at how well he acted. Kudos for the Israeli line of Sables.

to make sure my dog behaved at the Vet's i
use to go the Vet 2 or 3 times week for treats
and pets. the Vet or a member of the staff would
always pet him, treat him and give him a mock exam.
i was allowed to take in the back and ride him up
and down on the exam table. before going to the Vet
i would say "let's go to the Vet". now when i say
"let's go to the Vet" my dog grabs his leash
and sits in from of the door. having a well trained/behaved
dog at the Vet's is a pleasure plus it's a quiet brag.

That's hilarious, and a great idea too. Yes, it makes it so much more pleasant when they behave.
