So it's been almost two months since I brought Sasha home, and I have seen so many amazing changes in her. This was a dog that was so unsure and scared when we first got her, and now her confidence is through the roof (sometime she's so confident she borders on cocky )

An interesting thing happened recently. I went on spring break and had to leave her. I had initailly thought I was going to bring her with me, but the person that I was going to see had stuff planned for us that would have required me to leave her in her crate for a few hours in a place she didn't know, and I just didn't feel she was ready for that. So, she got left at home with my mom and my brother. Before I left, she was fine with my mom, but she was so sure my brother was going to do something to her that she'd slink away from him, and when she did let him pet her she just looked so pitiful. Well...while I was on spring break my brother was also, but he stayed at home the whole week, so it was just him and Sasha all week. I came home to a dog that wags her tail and kisses all over my brother! It's soooo cute! I did come home to find that she'd picked up a few bad habits (like every time she sits my brother has her "shake paws", so now whenever I ask her to sit she gives me her paw ) but any bad habit she's picked up is WAY worth the level of relaxed she is now. As a result of seeing that my brother isn't going to hurt her, she also has decided that maybe other men are ok too. She still watches them at first (but then again, so do I lol) but no longer shrinks down (when I'm not there) or pulls the inappropriate protection crap (when I am there). I'm just so proud of her that I had to share She's still a mamma's girl, but I'm so glad that she knows now that she doesn't just have a mamma that loves her, she's got a whole family.
