Looking for info on personality traits from bloodline
Easton is getting to his tween age time frame, and we all know how that is lol. He just turned 12 months and I was hoping some of the more knowlagable members could give some in-site I will attach Easton line, hoping anyone with knowlage of any other dogs from simler off springs could tell me what kind of temperaments or anything else.
What I have noticed from Easton :
Very out going. Extremely neutral (nothing bothers him) has started to develop dominance over certain dogs-(will put them down and will not let them up-unleased called off by me) pronounced warning bark at home,(hates neibors dog little schitzzo and two houses down, will bark and hair up when he hears them bark, no other dog will he do that to, strange)
High ball drive and handler pleasing, deep full bites on tug, will out on command.
Figures things out very fast, problem solver
Stubborn will always need the last word as I say it. Durring play will if you push him always come back and mouth you.
Very strong pulls and very strong bites-I'm no expert but can't get him to release with out command.
Will play with everyone and follows me non stop
Does show dominance over others in my family via wants to push them away from sitting by me, will even lay on top of them to be next to me.
Started to show strong drive on walks with nose down wailing fast following certain trails to get home- leads me I don't kneed to show the way.
Strong digging urges, and wants to always go even on my shoulders to mouth my ear or scrape my head with bottome of his mouth- I know that's not good- working on the down with that.
Sorry if I want on, just trying to list his personality to help with comparison. He loves to play and will be non stop iF I let him, will do anything and listen with any command for toy over food. Though he loves his raw meals
So any info or comments would be welcome, and I know I am a kraftwerk owner so please don't let that corrt you, don't punish a great dog for what you don't like about a breeder :)
I know an Oruger son, extremely high ball drive, excellent grips, very intense, good social skills and good with dogs and kids (or at least was about 6 months ago). Nice bone, good pigment. I actually really liked this dog himself. Not a fan of what he is producing though.
Are you referring to oruger or the son when you mentioned you didn't like what he was producing? Was the dog you seen being used for breeding?
I was also hoping to find some info more on my Dame side, as from what I could find, her lines are more of the so called harder temper dogs?
How could I find if any siblings from Easton or half blood from dames side?
I tried to ped site but I will be honest have no idea on how to use it- I know rook alert lol
I really chose Easton more for his mother side more then Orugger, though like him or not Orruger is a very accomplished dog that keeps pushing the bar. I know he is a carrier but from what I found it's the whole pairing.
If anyone could lend me so e help or a way I would love to research more, or if there is a way to have it done, I would pay. I have so much paper work on his breeding, but it's all I. German, via german? Any where to translate or how.
Thank you everyone,
Looking to have Easton evaluated in Hearding, hope he dose well, if not that maybe tracking as I would love for him to have a job, he is such a happy goofy boy
I am not a fan of the son's production.
I have only met 1 dog out of Oruger thus far that I know of, and he is a very nice dog. From what I have heard recently he is doing well in herding and I have seen him worked in protection and obedience and he excelled. Nice dog. He is still young (under 3) and I have not seen him in quite awhile but work with people who have and they have the same view as I do in regards to him being a nice dog. Tones of drive, fun dog to work. Very large, big boned. Very social.
ETA: He went OFA Excellent hips and good elbows, I believe he is also DM clear (N/N). He has his CGN, HIC, RN and AD thus far. I am not sure what other venues he is working in anymore though.
That's fun to hear. Thank you for taking the time to share that with me.
No problem. :)
