Looking for thoughts on this pedigree: Unaj Apanta rei

There is heavy line-breeding on Greif zum Lahntal & Caro vom Allerswald, but it's in the 7th & 8th generations, wondering how much affect that may have?

Lewis isn't known for producing great hips, but is there enough to balance that out?

I've also read/heard good things regarding the Leipheimer Moor kennel & their dogs, but don't have any direct knowledge of them.

The grand dam(on the dam's side) is a litter mate to one of my dogs, so I am more familiar with those lines.

While I love input from anyone, those with direct knowledge of any of the dogs would be a bonus :)

My male is an Ufo grandson so I am familiar with that line - you can expect high prey drive through him, his side consists of many top sport dogs in belgium... hardness through Natan and Rick van Tiekerhook. My experience is that dogs through Ufo could be a little tough, may require a more experienced handler.

Rather than worrying about what is in the 7th and 8th generation back, I would be more interested in what is closer up. You have Sid V.h. Pixner on top and Ellute V.D. Mohnwiese on the bottom. I would like to see Ellute one generation closer but it still sounds like a fun dog with lots of drive and power.

While I agree that latest generations need to be looked at & studied, I also think it is prudent to pay attention to what's behind them. They(recent generations) all got their traits(good & bad) from somewhere & I like knowing from who/where.
As someone that has not been around the block that many times, it's harder for me to have(or know those with) "hands on" info regarding the dogs further back in pedigrees. That's why I ask for others input & try to do as much research as I can. I like filling in the blanks as much as possible, before making any decisions.
