Default Honest Eval

AKC: Research Pedigree - 5 Generation

Can I get an honest eval?

Let me know if this link doesn't work and I will figure out how to get the link to someone.

Good job Liesje

It would bother me that there are so many dogs with no titles.....

well I sure would not be putting Pleuni and Canto , Uran Wildsteigerland , Lord , Fero , together .

You saw Mink and assumed it was a working line dog . Not at all the case . This is one jar of mixed nuts !
No signs of planning or understanding .

Not finding any OFA records for either parent either in the database.

Nothing even recognizable until a few in 3, some in 4 - 5 and 6th generation, more known dogs....basically like Carmen says - just a mixed bag of dogs with no rhyme or reason for the breedings - certainly not a pedigree to start or use in a serious breeding program...

I see some older dogs closer up in this pedigree than many others. Sometimes that can be a good thing but it depends on the reason/goal. Like others have said I find it hard to follow.

The honest eval on a pedegree like this: BYB dog, from BYB dogs. Way back in the pedigree there are working line dogs, but you can say that about most any pedigreed dog if you go back enough generations.

I agree with everyone else. Not a pedigree I would want, for any reason, since it seems like someone who doesn't have any knowledge behind pedigrees just put two of their randomly bred dogs together.

The dog might make a reasonably nice end-user pet, but for someone interested in breeding, I'd steer clear of this breeder and whatever they are doing--as the others said, there seems to be no rhyme or reason, no titles, not even OFA on these unknown dogs. In short, a backyard breeder. Glad you talked to us before picking one up!
