OP, are those pictures of the sire and dam?
If so I would "guess top pic is WGSL and the lower is American. Purely a guess though .There are now recognized SV style LC classes, and I was told the GSDCA Nationals had LC classes as well.

That breed for longcoats, or that breed longcoats? IMO, there is a difference. LC's were accepted (KKL2) until 1992 I think. Then "banned" now back as a variety in Germany (I think variety would be the correct term, not sure). I have no problem with LCs. The sire to my puppy is a Sch3 son of Tom van't Leefdalhof.... and a coat.

I am asking on a purely percentage wise aspect - not counting exceptional coats - how many of the breeders that you would seriously consider getting your next puppy out of...how many of those breeders would regularly use and breed coats? I think you know my point and it's rhetorical....I also insinuate this because of OP's obvious apprehension about revealing any details regarding the breeding.
