Default Schwarzen Milan Lines

I am in a quest to find out more about some of the dogs from the old Schwarzen Milan Kennel. A female of mine has the motherline go back through Mara and Josi V Schwarzen Milan, and for a long time now, I keep hitting dead ends in finding out how good were the Schwarzen Milan dogs? Google Schwarzen Milan and Grischa will most notably come up, but other Schwarzen Milan dogs are found in the lines of some very notable dogs today. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge about this kennel or some of these dogs, especially Josi?

Most of my knowledge is of Grischa. He was behind my bitch, Treue, grandsire of a friend's bitch and the sire of another friend's bitch. Also a good friend of mine was friend's with the people who owned and handled him.

I am seeing Urak Schwarzen Milan's name showing up a bit more lately. I remember when he was trialing, but not much else about him.

Wish I could help more.

from what I gathered looking in to Czech lines -- Grischa Schwarzen Milan was an indomitable dog , who put his stamp on his progeny , his head and body type .
Same rear that , short and straight in the stifle , needed more drive in the rear .
He is represented on Czech pedigrees through his son V Bob Cega , who sired Bob Hozmi . He did represent a risk to good hips !! V Bob Cega CS

Grischa had a3 hips and needed to be used carefully. He was long lived and very healthy until just before he died. He also brought "heart".

Bob's littermate Barinja also produced very well.
