Default Old DDR Herding bloodlines

I keep reading on-line the mention of "old DDR Herding bloodlines". As I own a DDR bred pup and am interested in herding, I was hoping someone could educate me on these old herding bloodlines. What are they and are they still available in America? Thank you in advance as I am still learning about the DDR bloodlines but am quite curious......

it's a lot of work rewriting stuff -- start off with looking at the genetic obedience thread -- yes herding dog genetics are alive -- understand the difference between work and trial . In the meantime go and have a look at the genetic obedience thread. Lots of dogs mentioned there. When I have time in the next day or two I will tackle a breakdown of Kessy Waldwinkel (phgsd? I believe )
Provide your dogs pedigree --

Oh, ok! I did read bits and pieces of that but I wasn't sure if it was herding lines or just lines inclined to excel in obedience..... I will go back and reread.

I wonder if there are any current DDR dogs who actually have advanced herding titles? I found a site named DDR Legends but I never got my approval (even though I registered) and am not sure if the site is even still active...

I sent you a PM with pedigree.

don't look so much at herding titles , look to dogs that are really used on working farms -- Lord Gleisdreieck seems to be a constant . here is a web site of a gentleman that I had written to a few years back -- do have a look at some nice conformation of a working dog "von Lord Fandor" "von Lord Fandor"

I have all those lines so have a good idea of how they handle things and approach the world.
