Yes, this is pretty much a west German working line pedigree. I know Zwack's sire rather well and have seen a number of his offspring and his littermates. I like Javir very much (so much I flew to Germany to breed Vala to him) and I have liked the pups I have seen and also his littermates. All are very confident/clear dogs with excellent drives and fight in protection. Most are also house dogs.
Aly was a very good dog. Strong dog, lots of fight, plus the good hip production. I, personally, like him coming through his daughters Vs. through his sons. Javir's owner has a son of his linebred on Aly that is an extremely nice dog. Very strong in protection with a lot of fight, excellent in tracking and very very nice obedience. I saw Basko v.d. Lutter trial when he was older. Very solid dog that trialed consistenly for many years, but not a dog that really excited me (and I am not talking flash). I have never seen any of his kids. Chris Wild had a couple of litters by Ernst so she can tell you about him.
