I am completely clueless as to reading pedigrees or understanding bloodlines. I have done google searches but can't seem to find an answer i can understand lol. So what does Linebred 3-3 mean? Is it bad or good? What about 4-3 etc?

The parents are generation 1 grand parents 2 and so on.
If a dog is 3-3 on X, that means it is the great grand parent on both parents. Line breeding can be good or bad. You have a more of a chance of picking up the genetics of the dog being line bred on and that includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. |

Exactly what Betty said. Linebreeding means the same dog appears more than once in a pedigree. It's not the same as inbreeding, which is breeding of two close relatives like mother to son, brother-sister, etc. Linebreeding can be good or bad, depending on the dog that is linebred on. My pup is linebred 3-3 on Sando Haus Iris, which to me is a good thing.
