Opinions on this pedigree

A friend's son sent me this pedigree for a litter I think he is looking into. IMHO I think "Why?". Czech on top and German working lines and American pets on the bottom. I'm not overly knowledgeable on the Czech stuff even though we have 2 dogs here with Czech pedigrees (new to us, just starting to research).
Anyway, the kid (he's 23) who is looking into this really just wants a nice companion dog, he's very outdoorsy and wants dog to go camping, hiking and just hang out with him. His last GSD was a $200 Craigslist find that he just loved but lost early (illness).
Anyway, just want some other input if anyone cares to take a look.

I'm not overly knowledgeable about this sort of thing, but it looks to me like you could end up with a basket case.

Another Craigs list/Sunday paper pup??? No rhyme or reason for the breeding other than pets....and every puppy deserves a home....genetic lottery ticket....at least get someone to meet the pups with him and try to get an outgoing stable pup.

Every puppy deserves a good home, but not everybody who puts two dogs together deserves three hundred bucks a pop.

This one he didn't find on craigslist, he found their website somehow. I felt there was no goal in this breeding, but just wanted some feedback other than me. Somehow this kid has found the most bizarre places, I'm going to offer to help him a bit, but have learned not to invest too much time since it just frustrates me. There are some great breeders around here that don't charge anymore than these people, but somehow they sell these random breeding pups constantly!

Here are the websites for the 2 places he called me to ask about, the first is dogs from the pedigree I listed, the 2nd is for another place just up the road from me (and I've NEVER heard of them until today).

Like I said, I'll steer him toward some other places if he'll take the advice, but I'm not holding my breath. At first he said he didn't want to spend more than he had on the other dog, which was around $500 if I recall correctly. And now he's telling us about these pups for $2000!!!

sometimes owners of male dogs don't know when to say no.

I definitely have a lot to learn about pedigrees....but this one looks like a mess! I'm also not great with czech lines, but the few I know the top have looks very strong. Add in some dogs like mink, a spatter ing of tiekerhook dogs, canto, asl, and straight up pet lines......oy vey.
