Did you try the pedigreedatabase yet? I found Zello Von Der Steinhagerquelle immediately:

VA2(N) V18 (BSZS) Zello von der Steinhägerquelle - German shepherd dog

Look like German Showlines to me..

ok so it looks like sires father side is full of SchH3 dogs with 8.
SchH2/IP2 there are 2 and one SCHH1 and one
ADV K-9, SCHH3/FH. I'm thinking lots of working dogs on sires side?? There are also V, VA, SG, VA2 and V V in front of their names. What do those stand for?

The letters in front are show rating, so they are German Show Lines. Did you find any titles on the Anerican dogs? if not, they are probably pet lines.

Just one and he was the ADV k-9/ schh3/FH. And some appeared to be both? With titles in front followed by the schh after. Is this common?

European show lines have Schutzhund titles.... does not make them "working-line."

Lady Luck Jill..... half showline, other half likely "pet

Rusty Ace.... probably all "pet"

Ray's Brittney... showlines

There are a few if you have not already found them. Looks like the breeders knew enough to update the pedigreedatabase.com
