Default which do you prefer and why?

What would you expect out of each of these pedigrees, which would you prefer and why.

I know pups from both males. All the pups I know of have lots and lots of drive. Bomber has been producing oversized dogs, and some resulting ortho problems in some I know of, so be aware of that. Zico brings alot of active aggression to the table. Don't know that much about the czech lines of the female - so it all depends on what the female has already produced, and who she has been bred to -

A - The Zico son I know is a very hard, not as biddable as I would like and out of a Gringo daughter - my Gringo stuff is all super super nice tempered and biddable.... A's mother is supposedly very biddable as well....so only one pup - but....more info than no pups! lol

Cliff may be able to shed some info on the dam...

Thank you, besides oversized are there any known health issues that anyone may know of? I look forward to more responses!

I would think the first breeding would produce dogs with a tad more drive, and the second breeding would produce dogs with a little more hardness. Top puppies in either breeding will do better with experienced handlers, imo, for different reasons. The Czech part is only 1/4 of either breeding, and is basically an outcross. The Western lines will provide much more impact on the litter, again, imo.

Thank Cliff. Would you consider either a good pedigree?

The first breeding has been done before. Bomber has a lot of 'a' stamped progeny with over 80% a1. I don't like seeing so many d and e elbows. In the previous cross between the two the SV genetics CD shows 1 pup that is a1 with 'a' elbows, 1 that is us a2 with 'b' elbows and 1 that is a1 with 'c' elbows.

Zico has only a bit over 29% of his pups have been 'a' stamped with most going a1. He himself has 'b' elbows which may or may not be an issue. His pups are also younger.

Neither litter interests me, but that is just person preference.

They both are popular studs, that's for sure. I think Zico brings more power, and I would like to see that replicated over Bomber. And from the progeny that I've seen, I'd take Zico's. But both dogs are still young, and their progeny much so that a good assessment can't be made.

Mike,

For some feedback on what Zico is producing, check with Cedric Greene in ATL. He bred to Zico, litter was whelped last May.
