Not sure how coherent this question will be, but i've read and heard now that some lines mature slower than others.. is it more of a specific line thing or a specific type (Czech, DDR, etc.) that can be generally considered slow maturing?
And does that normally mean mental maturity or does that also count as physical maturity, for example a male dog that may take 2+ years to fully fill out and develop physically? And lastly, can someone give examples of lines/types that are a bit slower than most and what exactly that entails? Thanks in advance and I hope that wasn't too confusing.

Where I've most often seen it/heard about it is in the DDR lines. When discussed, I think it has more to do with mental maturity and drive maturity. Some dogs look like full grown adults but are still very young in their heads and unable to handle pressure in training.

Thank you, that pretty much confirms what i've heard.. I wasn't sure if there was more to it/other examples.
