Default What you think this pairing would bring to the table?

Without anyone talking about the lack of titles on these dogs - can I have some opinions on what you think this pairing might bring forth?

Mating test - German shepherd dog

I have seen both these dogs work/train, at home, out and about and such and really, really like what I have seen so far as does everyone who has met them (schH TD/helper(s)). I have also had the opportunity to watch their first litter grow a bit (they are almost a year now) and had the opportunity to babysit a female from this pairing for a few weeks.

Just curious to those more familar with these lines, what you would expect from this pairing - the good and the bad?

I know I have asked a few members already and I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE your comments, opinions and the knowledge you shared already

I would take a puppy out of this breeding in a heartbeat, especially if I could pick the puppy or somebody I trust can pick it for me. The Czech lines on the bottom are impeccable, especially in nervebase, and I get Tim Abfhur up top with stong hipped DDR on bottom....I could do this.

Thanks Cliff - I have first pick of the litter if I am serious. I have many experienced sport/dog people who are invited to come and assess the litter as much as we want.

I like the fact that I know these two dogs very well and have the opportunity to come out and watch them work and to spend time with them in different atomosphere's/places to really see how they react.

I have also been told I could take the female for a weekend to really get to know her, which is amazing.

I REALLY, REALLY love these two dogs and am very much considering a puppy from this mating.

Very interesting blend of dogs - lots of strength and power....if they are working, why not titled? I know how difficult it can be to title a dog without good solid helpers/clubs (that you can afford!!!) within a few hours - but if they are working and you can see them - and better yet, you have have experienced trainers to assess them...it could be a very nice litter...I really liked Kaiko Salztalblick BTW - and the blend of DDR and WGR is appealing.

This Lee.

She does work her dogs, she also does herding with the girls. I have seen these dogs, as have people I trust in the sport (as well as those who train for LE) and truely, they are quite nice. I really, really love Lexi and Shep - most I have seen with titles at various clubs don't seem to measure up for me and I keep going back to these two time and time again.

It's an added bonus that I can actually spend time with them in various types of situations, so I kinda have a upper hand here to really get to know these dogs.

I am hoping that things fall into place for me so that I can bring one of these pups home, but I am really not sure right now. The timing is kinda rough - I will be graduating in April - they are due then, moving in June and starting a new job around that time too .. so hopefully things work out. I am really crossing my fingers here.
