Thumbs up Summer is here! Heat and our GSDs

Just a reminder! Took Kana on a long walk yesterday and she took a while to cool down, so I searched for "overheating" on our site here. Lots of great threads with lots of great information. So, look them up and remind yourself of the percautions to take with you dog and have a great summer!

Default Just keeping it up

Just wanted to keep this in the recent activity area for a little longer so more folks see the reminder.

It hit 100 here for the first time last weekend. It didn't take too long before Samson figured out that the pool is cool! Lol He didn't care for swimming much yet but hopefully he will figure that out before it gets 120 degrees here

I'm wanting to get a little pool to put in the backyard for the dogs to cool off in. Of course I'd dump it at night so it doesn't become a breeding pool for mosquitos.

I don't let mine go longer than 3 days. Planning on getting a stock tank with a drain. Flipping is getting old.
