Default Reaction symptoms?

So I decided to give my dogs a natural calming remedy instead of going with prescribed pills to sedate my dogs when we fly to Germany next month. I bought Rescue Remedy (Natural stress relief for pets - Rescue® Remedy Pet) and I was told I should test it out on my dogs before using it on the flight.

If I am testing it out on my dogs, this means to make sure they don't have any reactions right? If my dogs were to have a reaction to this, what would they be? I am testing it out now at home just to be safe. I just gave them the treats with 4 drops of the remedy like it says, but I totally didn't think about what I should look for. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Yes, you want to test to see if your dogs are allergic to it. When Luna has an allergic reaction, her face swells, her ears droop, and she gets very itchy. itchiness is the most common sign of an allergic reaction, but dogs can also get vomiting and diarrhea symptoms.

I'm a little nervous I won't lie. I even have my emergency vet in the GPS ready to go because this reaction talk always makes me nervous.

I believe it is very rare to get a reaction from Rescue Remedy... and it would likely be very mild.

You can have regular benadryl on hand to give your dog in case of an allergic reaction.

Thanks to you both, everything went smoothly. I was just being a worried doggy mama.
