Question Salmon for a puppy?

I recently started to feed our pup Stella a raw diet. Today my wife was going to make salmon pattys for dinner but didn't have everything. Anyhow I wanted to know if Stella can have the salmon my wife had already opened ( from a can ). Would it upset her Stomach

I buy these 5 pound tubes of emulsified raw salmon and put it into my raw blend for my pooch.....no problems at all....I'll bet the salmon you have for your dog is a much better cut than mine....LOL.

Just a heads up about raw salmon, hadn't heard of this before seeing it mentioned here. Your using canned, but still worth a look.

I was concerned about this particular situation regarding Pacific NW salmon but since the chubs of salmon I purchase are as hard as bricks and frozen in a commercial freezer before purchase...I feel confident the freezing environment is adequate.....but as you say....since it is canned, it should be fine....as I believe it has been cooked already.

We catch them down on the lower Columbia river, never fed it raw though, always grilled, we didn't know about the parasite until I saw the thread.
