Where to find raw in SW Florida?

I live in Lehigh Acres in SW Florida and this will be my first time feeding raw. I'm wondering where I should look? Just at every butcher and see who can make me a deal or is there a specific type of butcher I should look at? Or is there a different type of place I should be looking all together? Thanks.

I'd join a few BARF and raw feeding forums and ask your questions.

Just Google it and you will have many options. I am certain that you will find a wealth of info regarding where to get raw at the best pricing.....much cheaper than kibble.

Here's one that might get you started........

Yahoo Groups

The deal I have is where a few local folks in the forum are willing to go pick up the orders for .25 a lb. They make a run or two every month. This is a deal since the best supplier is 100 miles away. I place my order, they pick it up and bring it to my area and I have a 100 lbs of raw for a total of .55 to .68 a lb...and that includes their charge of .25 per lb delivery fee. I could use a supplier locally for an average cost of $1 plus per lb but why?

Good luck,

SuperG

Call up any butcher shop. Ask if they have raw scraps they don't need or scraps from the saw ( looks like mush or ground meat)
A few shops around me give it for free when they remember to save it and a few shops charge .50-.70 per pound depending how fresh it is.
