Default Honest Kitchen Preference + RAW

I've been looking into incorporating Honest Kitchen into my GSD's diet as she has had constant bowel issues since she was a puppy. She's been tested and all that fun stuff, and nothing out of the ordinary cropped up. I'd like to eventually get her tested for IBS and soon will. Honest Kitchen is a bit... costly for me, but they had a more "affordable" option, I guess, called Preference which is meant as a base-mix and meat added.

I wanted to find out how many RAW feeders out there feel the base-mix such as Honest Kitchen is necessary or not. I'd rather have something that covers all the bases aside from the meat so I can eliminate some of the prep time. Any suggestions or comments on it?

Hi There,

I am adding The Honest Kitchen Preference to my dogs RAW food.
I have been doing this for past 6 months and I don't see any issues with that.
I am not fallowing the instruction son the back of the packaging. Personally I add only 1/3 cup + water to dehydrate of a THK to about 1.5 - 2 lbs of RAW food.

Why do I do this addition - I honestly don't know....but somehow I think that with this addition I am balancing my dog dietary needs....not that I needed to, I guess just to feel safer Good luck.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
